THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

The immersive art experience Monet’s Garden is a fantastic 360-degree journey through the history and works of one of the greatest artists of the past century.

The unique exhibition concept is staged with state-of-the-art multimedia technology, which allows visitors to immerse themselves completely in the world and famous artworks of the Impressionist painter Claude Monet (1840 – 1926).

Elaborate installations and projections, combined with music, create rushing worlds of colour and make the paintings come alive and tangible in a way never seen before. For the viewer, illusions transform into reality.

Monet’s Garden takes place at Arches London Bridge, a vibrant new exhibition and cultural event venue. The venue will open in 2023.

Boasting curved 6m high ceilings and over 11,000 sq feet, the venue contains five interconnected cavernous railway arches and is being newly renovated with a bar, café, box office and shop. From Autumn 2023, it will host a roster of vibrant exhibitions and events from some of the biggest entertainment producers in the world.

Getting Here

Arches London Bridge is located at 8 Bermondsey St, SE1 2ER. It is a 2 minute walk from the Tooley St exit of London Bridge Station, and a 4 minute walk from The Shard.

London Bridge Station is the easiest public transport hub to reach the venue from, running on the Jubilee and Northern London Underground Lines, in additional to the rail station which is serviced by Southeastern, Southern and Thameslink.​

    Are Monet’s paintings on display?

    Monet’s Garden is an immersive experience that uses motifs from Monet’s paintings to create a 360-degree digital experience with moving artwork and enveloping projections. While the actual paintings will not be on display, Monet’s Garden gives visitors the opportunity to explore and interact with Monet’s artwork in brand new ways.

    How long is the experience?

    The duration of your visit is up to you, but plan on 60-70 minutes. The focus of the exhibition is the immersive show experience, which lasts 45 minutes.

    What is a time slot?

    Monet’s Garden operates on a timed entry basis. You may select your preferred entry time when you book your tickets. You may enter the exhibition any time within your 30 minute timeslot. Once you are inside the exhibition, the visiting time is unlimited.

    Where can I buy tickets?

    You can buy tickets online on our website. There are also a limited number of tickets available at the venue on the door. Payment can be made either by cash or card onsite.

    Can I bring a group or school group?

    Yes, we can accommodate large groups. For groups above 20, please see below rates. Enquiries for groups of this size can be processed via email at info@archeslondonbridge.co.uk. Groups up to 20 can be purchased via the Book Tickets link on our website.

    School Groups (Junior Schools)

    1 teacher goes free for every 10 tickets bought
    Tickets are at the advertised 5-15 rate
    Tickets can be reserved for 1 week
    After that we need a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation

    Full payment to be made no later than 1 month before the trip

    School Groups (Secondary Schools)

    1 teacher goes free for every 10 tickets bought
    Tickets are at the advertised student or groups rate (whichever is cheapest)
    Tickets can be reserved for 1 week to secure the reservation
    After that we need a 10% non-refundable deposit

    General Groups of more than 20

    Tickets £19.90 + 1 free in every 10

    What is the age recommendation?

    Monet’s Garden is recommended for children aged 6 and older. Children under 5 do not require a ticket. Please note the exhibition has sound and light effects and is not suitable for infants.

    Can I take photographs?

    Yes! We hope you will take advantage of our numerous Instagrammable moments and post them using the hashtag #MonetsGarden. Please note that flash photography and tripods/monopods are not permitted. Please be careful not to disturb the other guests. You are welcome to photograph and film and share everything for your private use, e.g. on your social channels. Commercial use of photographs is not permitted.

    Is Monet's Garden appropriate for those with sensory sensitivities?

    This exhibition contains moving immersive projections and some strobe effects that could impact people with autism or motion sickness.

    Can you eat or drink in the exhibit?

    No food is permitted, however food and refreshments are available from our licensed bar & café.

    Is Monet's Garden wheelchair accessible?
